Demand dropped off so much that I decided to get out of the tooling side of the business. With my stock of Rivet Setting Tools now depleted, I'll gladly recommend sizes and a good source. What I sold for years are 3 1/2" Length, AN470 Rivet Sets. I bought them in bulk from The Yardstore website: Yardstore - Aircraft and Aviation Sheet Metal Tool Supply . They are an aircraft maintenance and manufacturing tooling supply house. They are available with various size concaves for rivets of different diameters.
They are also a good source of high quality, dimensional and numbered diameter drill bits in small quantities. My other source, MSC, only sold them by the dozen. I bought metric bits from them in the past, but they no longer carry them. Rivets are made slightly undersize, so getting a numbered bit one size smaller than the metric size should work well most of the time (#22 for 4mm, #9 for 5mm, etc), but try a 5/16" for the 8mm rivets. MSC was also from whom I bought countersinks in bulk: MSC Industrial Supply - Metalworking tools and MRO Supplies (mscdirect.com) .
